Rotary 3780 and ALAGAD Agreed to Promote Poor's Access to Knowledge and Information
SEPT. 7, 2010 Rotary Center, Quezon City - Rotary International District 3780 QC Governor Pablo “Ambo” Gancayco inked an agreement with Rotary Club Holy Spirit and ALAGAD Party-List President Diogenes Osabel for the development of www.alagad.com.ph, a pro-poor knowledge and information portal designed for barangay and community leaders. The project will set up a system for regular information exchange and linkages between cooperating “public information nodes” (Rotary Clubs, government agencies, LGUs, NGOs, schools and companies with computer/s and internet access) and Community-Based Organizations.
